Terms & Conditions
1. Unlimited telephone support is available during the
hours of 9am – 5pm. During the hours of 1pm – 2pm
support is more limited. We endeavour to answer all queries
within two working hours where an immediate solution
is not given. Bank Holidays, Christmas and Easter holidays
can be covered if by prior agreement.
2. Where a telephone response will not resolve a problem,
under the terms of the contract, we will attend one on-site
call out for a period of three hours free of charge. Where
more time is required, this will be charged at an agreed
rate prior to commencement.
3. Bartfields (UK) Limited will not undertake work where
codes are required by Sage to change the basic running
of a Sage product, this is not recommended and we will
endeavour to find a more suitable route to produce a
solution.
4. Bartfields (UK) Limited are not responsible for any
hardware failures and do not support any hardware used
to run Sage programs.
5. Support contracts do not include payroll updates or
new program upgrades.
6. Where a member of support staff is unable to take your
call immediately, your query will be logged and a consultant
will call you back as soon as they are able.
7. Comprehensive backup systems and virus checks are the
responsibility of the customer.
8. Where a support call is made by fax or email, please
ensure that you receive confirmation of receipt from a
member of support staff at Bartfields (UK) Limited.
9. The correction of errors within accountancy software
is not covered by this contract. The client must ensure
they are clear as to the procedures to be followed for
data input.
10. All Sage software must be licensed and registered
with Sage and the property of the client.

FROM BARTFIELDS (UK) LIMITED.
Bartfields (UK) Limited have a number of dedicated Sage
specialists who can offer individual advice on your software
and any accountancy queries you may encounter. We aim
to provide a first class support service to ensure that
your systems run as accurately and efficiently as possible.
• TELEPHONE, E-MAIL & FAX SUPPORT
Support can be given by telephone, fax or email between
the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm and any out of hours support
you may require can be arranged by prior appointment.
We are able to offer a comprehensive training package
at preferential rates. Where a problem cannot be solved
over the telephone we will make one on site visit per
year to assist as part of your contract and will endeavour
to have attended your premises within 24 hours.

ACCOUNTANCY ADVICE & MANAGEMENT REPORTS
In addition to standard support, we are happy to provide
accountancy advice and a facility for you to email your
data to us on a regular basis for us to check and/or make
any period end management postings to give you accurate
accountancy figures on a regular basis. This is an additional
service to support clients and will incur an additional
fee.
• ANNUAL HEALTH CHECK
As an addition to your Sage support contract we will provide
an annual health check prior to renewal to ensure your
data is running in the best format for your business
and the system is error free and providing you with accurate
reports.
• CONSTANT SOFTWARE UPDATES
We will inform you of any new software releases that may
be of relevance to you and keep you updated on any functionality
changes therein. We can also provide you with various
procedural checklists designed by Bartfields (UK) Limited
to assist you with month end procedures and VAT returns.
• SEMINARS & ADVICE DAYS
From time to time, we run seminars with Sage Plc on new
Sage products and advice days to offer free assistance
with any problems you are experiencing or to obtain help
in any areas you wish to look further into i.e. ODBC
links. Support clients will automatically receive an
invitation to any of these events.
